Puppy Information: Pups will be ready to go to their new homes when they are eight weeks old. They will be socialized in a variety of venues (new places) with a variety of stimulus (adults, children, babies, other animals, etc.), introduced to different walking surfaces (dirt, grass, carpet, slick flooring, etc.), introduced to a variety of sounds (thunder, music, pots & pans, etc.), and introduced to other items that they might encounter in their lives (e.g. wheelchairs, crutches, etc.).  They will be evaluated for temperament and how well they conform to the breed standard. All puppies will be DNA-VIP and will also come with a one year membership to the Chinook Owners Association (COA).  Because it is our goal to match the right puppy with the right home, we cannot determine which pup goes to which home until these evaluations occur.  We then choose placements for all puppies based on the best match for each specific situation.

Please read our breeding philosophy. Our goal in breeding is to produce healthy Chinooks with outstanding temperament, drive and conformation.

If you have questions about whether a Chinook puppy is right for you, please read the FAQs
on the Chinook Owners Association website before deciding on this breed.
